    • Thanks Barb for your feedback. We are collecting feedback from our vendors currently about the times and market and will probably do our annual customer survey after the market is done for the season.

  2. Hi

Really disappointed that the Market isn’t in the evenings anymore for those of us that work full time. I will miss going

    • Thanks Cheryl for contacting us and we are sorry you will not be able to attend now.

Yes we went back to daytime hours. As you know we actually tried out 4-8pm last year for the market, but we had about a 100 less customers:( So majority consensus from vendors and committee – go back to daytime hours. But we know we are not the end all be all for markets so below are a couple suggestions:)

There is the Elgin Farmers’ Market Sunday’s 11am – 4pm, a quick search on for local markets, there might be a night market opening (will let you know when we know!), Klein’s Farm and Garden Market on Lillian and Route 20, and also a local foods grocery store – Shared Harvest-Elgin Food Cooperative that is trying to open up in a year to offer what the markets offer – all year, most days, and convenient hours:) Hope this helps and thanks for your feedback.

  3. With the change in times of the Summer Harvest Market. It would be, in my opinion best if it was on a Saturday, just like the Winter Market. Especially for people that are at work durning the week and can’t make it to the Summer Harvest Market. Even before when it would go later, by the time I was able to make it out there, most of everything was sold out. 😦
